We’re kicking off the summer season with a big splash with a packed June feature release.
We've got new features and new integrations for Hummingbird and Mariposa, so here's a quick look at what we've added.
New Features
New Integrations
Property-Level Accounting
We've found that operators may need to set up accounting differently at each of their properties, so we built property-level accounting! Now you can set different book types for each property; one property can be Accrual while another can be Cash.
You can also set different GL Accounts for y our income and cash (payment) accounts at a property level.
We also now offer a summarized version of the "Quickbooks - IIF" export and an export for "Quickbooks - IIF with Class Codes."
Unified Payments
There are times when a tenant will come into one of your properties and ask to make a payment for a space they’re renting at another one of your properties.
Previously, Hummingbird didn't offer a way for you to do this, but now you and your managers have the ability to help out a tenant in this situation.
To take payment for another property, head over to the take a payment screen for a tenant and select which property you are taking the payment at under Payment Property:
Unified Communications
With this release, Hummingbird becomes your central hub for all communication between you and your tenants.
Whether an email came from your Mariposa website or was sent through Hummingbird, you’re now able to see all communications related to a tenant on their Tenant Profile.
We’ve also made it easy for you to know which emails you sent out and which were automatically sent out by Humminbird by tagging any emails Hummingbird created as System Generated.
No more looking around in various places for your emails between tenants, everything (inbound and outbound emails) is unified now.
GA4 Compatability
Google is sunsetting Universal Analytics on July 1, 2023.
We’ve migrated all our SEO and PPC customers, and are asking all our Mariposa customers that aren’t on our digital marketing services to migrate their accounts by then to meet that deadline.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) will take over as the latest version of Google’s web analytics platform and we’re building functionality within Mariposa to take advantage of GA4’s new capabilities.
To facilitate this update, we’ve introduced the following field within Maripoa’s CMS under Website Analytics:
AI Lean
We're excited to announce that we're currently in beta testing for the AI Lean integration with Hummingbird. AI Lean takes a thorough look at your delinquent tenants, runs the data through their artificial intelligence software, and uses the data to determine how to tackle each type of delinquency.
AI Lean can handle all foreclosure and auction tasks, freeing up your busy managers to focus on renting spaces.
Adverank
Adverank is a software as a service specifically tailored for the self-storage industry, providing software and services designed to optimize marketing spend, streamline decision-making, and drive occupancy growth.
By leveraging artificial intelligence, Google PPC, Social Media, and industry expertise, Adverank empowers self-storage operators to make data-driven decisions, improve their brand presence, and maximize revenue.
Through the Nectar API, Adverank integrates with Hummingbird to pull the relevant performance data and provide suggestions for revenue optimization.
Veritec
Veritec is a third-party revenue management service provider that we've previously integrated with Hummingbird.
We’ve now added that integration into Mariposa to allow customers that are using our Mariposa websites and SSM to have their Value Pricing determined by Veritec.
Through this integration, customers using SSM as their property management software and Mariposa as their website platform will get Veritec-powered Value Pricing capabilities that will provide three price points for each space type, which would display as Good, Better, and Best.
